Blue Tea (Shay Azraq) Recipe


Blue tea is a delicious hot drink with a vibrant blue color, rich in antioxidants, and known for its mood-enhancing properties and ability to lower blood pressure. Here’s an easy recipe to make this refreshing drink at home.

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon blue tea leaves (dried)
1 cup hot water
1 lemon slice (for garnish)
Sugar (to taste)
Instructions:
Heat the water until it reaches a temperature of about 80-90°C (not boiling). Avoid letting the water boil, as boiling water can make the tea taste bitter.
Place 1 teaspoon of dried blue tea leaves into a cup.
Pour the hot water over the tea leaves, then cover the cup and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
Strain the tea to remove the leaves.
Serve the tea hot. For added flavor, garnish with a slice of lemon and adjust the sugar according to your preference.
