Homemade biscuits are a simple and delicious treat that can be easily prepared with basic ingredients. There are many variations of biscuits, and in this recipe, we will be making vanilla-flavored biscuits that are light, crisp, and perfect for any occasion.
Cooking Time:
60 minutes
Serves:
6 people
Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups flour
1 cup powdered sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Preheat the oven:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Mix the ingredients:

In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Double boiler method:

Place the bowl with the mixture over a double boiler (a pot of simmering water). Continue mixing for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely.

Whisk the mixture:

Remove the bowl from the double boiler and attach it back to the stand mixer. Whisk the mixture on high speed until it turns white and fluffy.

Add the flour:

Gradually add the flour to the egg mixture, mixing gently with a spatula until fully combined and smooth.

Shape the biscuits:

Transfer the dough to a piping bag. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, pipe small rounds or any shape you like for your biscuits.

Bake:

Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes or until they are lightly golden and crispy.

Cool and serve:

Allow the biscuits to cool completely before serving. They can be served at room temperature or slightly warm.
Tips:
Be careful not to over-mix after adding the flour to keep the biscuits light and crispy.
For a softer texture, you can add a small amount of butter or oil to the dough.
To experiment with different flavors, you can add a teaspoon of lemon or orange zest to the dough.
Enjoy your delicious, crispy homemade vanilla biscuits!
