Grilled Chicken on Charcoal

Grilled chicken on charcoal is one of the most beloved dishes worldwide, especially enjoyed during family gatherings. Here's a simple and flavorful recipe to make the perfect charcoal-grilled chicken.
Preparation Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients:

Chicken: 1.25 kg (cut into pieces)
Olive oil: 3 tbsp
Hot red pepper powder: 2 tbsp
Yogurt: 2 tbsp
Garlic: 2 tsp (minced)
Cumin: 1 tsp
Sumac: ½ tsp
Black pepper: ½ tsp
Salt: 2 tsp
Ketchup: 1 tbsp
Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade: In a deep bowl, combine the olive oil, yogurt, minced garlic, and ketchup. Add the sumac, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything thoroughly until well-combined.
Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a full night to allow the chicken to absorb all the flavors.
Grill the Chicken: Preheat your charcoal grill. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces on the grill. Cook for about 25 minutes, flipping the pieces occasionally to ensure they cook evenly on both sides.
Serve: Once the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char, remove it from the grill and place it on a serving dish. Serve hot with a variety of appetizers or sides of your choice.
Enjoy your delicious charcoal-grilled chicken!
